My alarm is a Toad Ai606 with remote window closure & boot release, I do not have the instructions & I whilst haven't had any problems as such, I've noticed a few changes (without me actually 'doing' anything)

Firstly when I used to arm it, it beeped twice, now it beeps 5 times crazy which is highly annoying, especially when you are in a town center on a Friday night!

Secondly the boot release no longer works

& finally I now sometimes have to lock the doors with the key, as they unlock themselves straight away - as if something is open, so I assume that could be a sticking boot or bonnet switch.

Is there a was to 'reset' it back to it's standard functions?. it's the changing from 2 arm beeps to 5 that is confusing me the most

Thanks in advance

J

the bleeping your discribing is the alarm warning you theres a fault, if you had the instruction it would tell you what 5 bleeps indicats to, have a search on the net for them

looking at this you can choose 5 chirps or two, you just need to set up up again

My door locks do this on the odd occasion if I try to lock it from a certain side, I think it might be an issue with the locks themselves and unrelated to the alarm.

Thanks for that guys, I have downloaded the instructions

Sorted it wink it turns out the alarm had reverted back to it's 'default' settings, maybe when I had the battery off..?.

The two issues I mentioned are part of the default state i.e. 5 chirps on activation + boot release de-activated.

I just have to go through the software switch selection programmer to get my desired settings
