This is a repost of another thread I think.
In the other thread it was clearly agreed that the Plus was the more desireable car, unless you are a bit chavvy in which case you'll like the LE best.

They never made the perfect coupe, a vinci grey plus. That's why I'm aiming for an amalgam of a Sprinty Plus and an LE,my idea of perfection . Baz

I prefer the Plus.
Not by a massive amount though.

Neither.
The most desirable has to be the original, non 'bells and whistles' variant, the 16V. Most rapidly approaching cult/classic status due to dwindling numbers. The Lampredi lump is a purists thing with a turbo variant being acceptable. 20V is just an unnneccessary progression. Special editions are marketing ploys and arguably borderline-chavvy. Only my opinion though ...
PS. I have resisted using smilies to punctuate these debatable facts and not to offend unfortunate non-16V owners.

Are those non-standard, boyracer special wheels you have on there Rob?

This question is un-answerable, it's all down to personal taste, one thing I do firmly believe in: 'the most desirable coupes i.e. LE's & Plus's are not necessarly the most enjoyable ones My 1st coop was a 3.5 year old Electric Blue Plus, cost me nearly 9.5K = least amount of enjoyment in owning/drivng My latest is a 12 year old Sprint Blue 20VT,has cost me less than 2.6K = most amount of enjoyment in owning/driving it says it all

Nah! The between-spoke-rim area is black to compliment the standard black front/rear valence and sill. This combined with the solid colour give the car the appearance of being lowered. Gotta chavvy Zender grille sprayed satin silver (2nd hand from Soloitalia for £20) though. I'm 49 y.o. from rural Shropshire not Essex!

Yellow plus with airbag seats is fairly desirable, Vinci grey LE is also turn on material. All in all, depends if you like red seat belts and area or the newer and wider design wheels. LE is probably going to be the best "put in a bag" investment. Both are equal.

opinions eh? if i'd had the choice of any coupe in any colour it would still be the plus and it would still be electric blue - admittedly a pearly one might have tampted me...

It's a preference thing and has been done so many times on here!
I personally think that Black LE's are possibly the best colour and trim combination going, but then I would wouldn't I!
Buy what you prefer JKD, all I can say is what I've said before on here, a well looked after LE or Plus will be more sought after in the future, although no coop will ever be a genuine classic, they never had enough kudos for that, even when current.
Buy, enjoy, and bugger everyone else's opinion, you are right, just remember that! (other than when you disagree with me of course!)
