Just wondered if any one has done this? I would like the indicators and reverse light to match the brakes lights. Obviously it needs to be legal so I don't want to be lacquering them like some people do to make them black. I'd ideally like to use two of the brake lights to replace the indicator lights but then I need an orange light to be emitted for mot purposes. Anyone any thoughts?

It's been done before. Looks good but wont pass the MOT, you will also have to deal with red reverse lights.
Im sure someone on here has created LEDS in the rear reflectors for the reverse lights which looked quite good.
Coupe now sold!

I have a set at home in the garage somewhere. Not lacquered, someone else modified them then I got hold of them. Shows red light through all lenses though. I think I put them up for sale on here a while back but can't find the advert now.

I have changed my lenses to all red and used some high intensity yellow LED lamps to emit an amber light through the red lenses. A coloured filament lamp just wasn`t intense enough and the light just stayed red. Works well but I have kept my original light cups to swap round for MOT as I suspect they're not quite right if you get my drift.
