Installed an Alpine CDE-103BT head unit into my coupe. Would recommend it if you want to play music from your iphone, its packed with features as well, can play music from a usb stick and has an auxillary in if you have a non-ipod (why for god sake ) But the main reason that I bought it was that it has bluetooth/handsfree widget built in (with a separate mike lead). Can now dial my contacts and answer my phone from the headunit. and it has 4 colour illumination, blue, green, a sort of pinky orange and a red.

if you have a non-ipod (why for god sake ) But surely as a Coupe driver you are a "leader" and not a "follower"? I like having things that are different from the "me too" crowd and dislike the way Apple ties you in to iTunes, so I use my phone for MP3's thanks very much But I'd rather have a direct connection to the head unit to play MP3's rather than streaming via bluetooth, I assume the Alpine has a rather superior DAC (digital to analogue converter)

I am a leader, just you have all followed me... I have been using iTunes since its private alpha/beta before it was even actually iTunes. I bought my iPod in October 2001 when it was unveiled. Loads of people have Coupe's now... Is it time to move on?

I have one of the original wind up iPods! I used to rave to people about Macs, but now I just give a knowing smug grin, I don't want everyone using them, they'll lose the exclusivity factor! G
