As car is going to be stuck on the ramps for a few days decided I want to change the appearance of the wheels! At the moment they are just highly polished with no laquer on them so they get shitty really quick... Basically want to change the colour of the wheels but KEEP the polished rim of the wheel then obviously laquer over all of it!

Any ideas? Saw a coup same colour as mine today with white wheels that looked really cool, would white with a polished rim work?

I'm struggling to put up pics of how the wheels currently look so if anyone can help me out, you can find pics in a post titled "blitz blue to electric blue"....

Thanks.... Nick

That was my original idea, standard wheel colour with a polished rim!? Then also thought about a dark metal colour still with polished rim??

If someone can post up a pic of my car from that mentioned thread above, then maybe some very nice person can do a lttle PHOTO SHOPING for.... Pretty please? tongue

I would go with grey middles and silver/polished edge, then they would suit any Coupe laugh

Keep them original. The edge should be lightly polished to get the original diamond cut finish.

AZEV wheels are no longer available, so keep hold of them as they are the only wheels that really suit the coupe IMO.

Keep them std and with bright red callipers behind them they would look awesome! cool

Also painting them another colour would make them very hard to sell if you need to.

Seen some finishes on a wheel site and i'm leaning towards the centre/spokes power silver with the rims polished, will look particularly good on the rears as they are deeper dish than the fronts!

I went for silver with a light sparkly affect which you don't really see unless you look "very" close when the sun is right or your just happen to be lucky when you look at it, which is very rare.
