Yeah C&N customs are pretty damn good guys, I've just taken my car to them for an appraisal and they've priced up sorting out some of the panels on it. They also repaired the plastic bumper on my girlfriends Pug 1007 when some untool bashed into it in an icy car park which left it badly cracked. When everyone else quoted new bumper, these guys plastic welded it up and painted it for a lot less.

What makes people do this sort of thing? How can jealousy be the only motive for vandalism, Its so cowardly.

Sadly this is something where many of us know exactly as you feel now.

My front and rear hood scratched in stars (like big *) last year. I haven't painted it yet... I don't want to go through that feeling again.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm having a coupe nightmare at the mo. It's expensive enough to keep it running as it is without arseholes dragging keys down it too.

The thing is, it's not like it's a Porsche and i'm a Banker FFS. It's a 2 grand car that I just happen to have a soft spot for!!

I think car makers need to come out with a really really really tough, scratch resistant paint.

How about coating cars in Teflon.

That way they will be scratch resistant, dirt repellant, you can cook eggs on them in summer.

And as a bonus they would all be Vinci grey
