Hi all i know the Pulsar and the s14 200sx share the same engine but do they share the same turbo aswell?

They all have the T25 flange mate!
On the old 200sz it's a t25, s14a 200sz is a t28 and pulsar is t28 also!

i have a second project coupe and i have a standard 200sx turbo sitting in a mates shed that i can play with thats all.

The turbo will fit but the t25 will be interesting on coupe....

A T25 would be waaay too small. The S14/Pulsar's 60 trim T28 would be a mild upgrade though.

I thought they were both the same 60 trim comp - 86(89?) a/r turbine? What are the differences between the two?

nissan pulsar turbo is a TB2804 specs below

Turbocharged ; Garret TB2804 (T3/T25 combination)
Compressor : 60mm, 60trim in .60A/R
Turbine : 53mm, 79trim in .86A/R

GTI-R

Compressor 60mm 60 trim in 0.42 a/r cover machined to allow bigger wheel
Turbine 53mm 62 trim in 0.49 a/r

Ah I see. No, we're talking about an actual turbo from a Pulsar GTIR! Not the turbo that someone decided to call "GTIR" for marketing purposes. smile

yeah, Just to clear up the GTiR turbo commonly referred to throughout this forum is not the same as a turbo from the Nissan Sunny GTiR. The Nissan Sunny (pulsar) GTiR does not bolt straight on to the coupe!
