This might have been asked already, but how much are the extra sessions and when do you pay for them?
Also when do you pay the remaining £65? Might be worth putting FAQ's in sticky as I'm sure the same questions are getting asked.

The remaining £65 can be paid any time you like before April next year, as that is when I have to pay the organisers.
We will know about costs and availability of extra sessions when SpaItalia publish them next year.
It will be possible to pay for them direct or we may be able to do it via the club, that remains to be fixed.

Is anyone interested in camping for accommodation for this event?
I'd consider going to this but as I : (i) prefer camping (both cost wise and more generally unless the hotel is super-deluxe); and (ii) don't want to end up being the only guy not using the hotel bar, would like to know what other people think.

Hi Steve, We considered it but it was just to much stuff to put in to the back of the coupe, and after a drive like that, the last thing I or emm wants to do is put up a tent

Thinking about it,would like to have a nice comfy nights sleep while away.

Yes, I know what you mean CD.
At the end of the day from my POV if there are a reasonable number of people who go for the camping option (say 5) then it works for me. A better solution would be if the campsite were in easy reach of the hotel.

Sam it is a long way for you looking at your map.
I'm a regular camper so could help putting up your tent!
IMHO if you are sensible about what you bring with you then a coupe is a good car to camp in - I've been to southern france and northern scotland with mine over the last couple of years.

Cheers Steve There was a poll done a while ago. the conclusion was that most people wanted to stay in a decent hotel, so that is what we are most actively working on. Having said that, there is no reason why those who wish to camp should not do so, however our priority is sorting out the hotel first. It is worth remembering that the weather at Spa is highly unpredictable, even in mid June.

Oh, it is! One minute lovely sunshine, the next it's gone dark and the rain is belting down, I've woken up at Spa a fair few times in what was a field but was now a lake!

CD there'll be porkypaul, me, JBT and probably a few others from midlands/north. i aim though to leave about 3pm thursday and am staying overnight at the travelodge rather than battle through the london traffic friday morning and risk missing the ferry. and i can have a few beers the night before.... Ayup Proccy i hope one of us midlanders have got some Sat nav. And a coupe lighter 12v socket that works.

The fuel prices are higher on the continent, largly due to the weakness of the pound.
Luxemberg is the cheapest country for fuel if you are going near it, but probably not worth much of a detour.
We are looking to book 1 hotel with possibly a camp site as well, the numbers should not be a problem.

@jbt - yes i have satnav, so we'll be ok if we can stick together. i suggest then that one of us with satnav leads, the other one (sam or me) goes neat the back in case we get split up. also we can discuss the route/road numbers and exchange phone numbers. i believe Joe is also looking at some walkie talkies.... @CD i've already booked mate, Theresa is in the process of doing the same so i'd suggest getting in there soon! there are some at canterbury a few miles away, but would be nice for us all to be together for a beer or 6 on the thursday night...

Without trying to confuse things.I hope to be camping at the circuit,i am sure i saw an area where vans and campers where parked up.(although i have found nothing about that on the Spa website.) If a campsite is found i would be up for that.I will also do a search for one as i know where the hotel is. Gill & i stayed at a very good b&b last year.(and may yet stay there next year). It will depend if i trailor the coupe up to Spa. I can give the number of the b&b if anyone wants it.It was very good. But staying at the same place is fun.I was lucky as Gill drove on the Saturday night,so we had a meal with everyone on the Saturday night.
