I'm sort of planning to overhaul a few things before Spa, so the wishlist is rather long.....

> Visit Rog and co at PowerItalia for full service
> New suspension dampers *
> New discs front and rear *
> New pads front and rear *
> MOT
> Fit refurbished steering wheel and gear knob
> Refurbish petrol cap

* = not really needed but wanting to make sure what is on the car will be happy with a track!

All this on a NA as well! smile

Despite being responsible for a large chunk of the national debt, my car still needs a few quid spending

Full respray (actually it just needs the rust sorting, but it would be daft not to sort the rest)
New bonnet (small dent and rust in the seams)
New suspension (one rear shock leaking, others now tired)
New airbag ECU (light's been on for months)
Replace carpet (freebie already sourced from Truffle - I really need to collect it one day rolleyes )
Bigger injectors, followed by the obligatory remap session
New front calipers (or at least very good secondhand ones)
New headbolts (old ones have been undone/done up too many times now)
Replace headlights (already got them - just need to source some decent 55W HIDs)
Hit a quarter of a million miles - should be around October

That little lot should leave me with very little change from four or five grand shocked

Must be mad....

ah, well.....about that, you see i just wanted it to be running "right" laugh

in mitigation the turbo i have on has blown and i got a fmic cheapish and the arb was for spa - well you of all people know how it is. so it IS standard pretty much, just with different parts crazy see what flea's map tells me, could be less powerful afer all that than before... confused

Started writing this and it just turned into a 'Wanted' list!

In reality it will be something along the following:

- Service Coupé
- Replace oil cooler
- Fit Group Buy water hoses
- Chrome and fit exhaust heat shield
- Replace rusty horns

And that should about do it for the year.

Coupe now sold!

Hmm, it's not always good to list stuff like this........

New Turbo - Got it but not fitted!
Belts - I'm still pushing my luck
Respray and bodywork - funds there, no time so far.
Clutch - this ones fine, but I'm upping the power, so new standard item will be fitted.
Rear ARB - Got it, still haven't fitted it
Shocks - Got them , not fitted (Pattern emerging here!)
Wheel Refurb (see respray)
FMIC to support the new Turbo
Flea map, to support all of the above!

So, not much then! shocked

Happy Christmas!

Gareth

Well in preparation for SPA some work will be undertaken.

I am going to start in January with a trip to Uncle Rog for the following...

Full Service
Coolant Hose of Death

From there a decision will be made on replacing the following/preventative maintenance for:

FULL suspension refresh - you name it, it'll be changed
Fresh pads and discs all round best I can find
New Standard Clutch
New Standard Brand New Turbo

I think... that is it.

I may consider a fleamap for the safety aspect also a trip to EuroEast for a tidy up laugh alloys might get a refurb but its probably pointless before SPA. Also they are pretty much perfect laugh

Oh god I am going to be penniless all year.
