Hi iv spotted a yellow w reg plus in battersea London, who's is it? And is it for sale as it's got three flat tires, dent on drivers side bonnet, looks neglected.

Hello Audio Guy. That VRM rings a bell. Is it parked up just off Battersea Park Rd beside some flats? Near the Albert Bridge Road junction? Culvert Rd? A yellow Plus in dire need of some TLC? Interior possibly full of rubbish (and I do mean rubbish, the sort the dustmen usually take away for you!).

If so, I can give you chapter and verse on it! I spotted that, hmm, at least 2 years ago. It was in similar condition then to how you describe it now - very neglected. Left a note on the screen and the guy did call me. Said he wanted to sell but "he wanted to get the fuel pump fixed first" (why would you bother?). I then spoke to CarlT who made him an offer over the phone which I believe the guy accepted on the terms above. The car then disappeared for a lonnnng time, then reappeared, minus the interior refuse, and for a short time looked as though it was being used again.

Obv the guy might be reading this but since he's unlikely to sell, I'll say it anyway: I don't think he realises what he's sitting on, i.e. a genuine Broom Yellow Plus, which I think it is, there's no LE kit on it unless it's been changed and hacked about since I last saw it.

I do have a name and number for the owner although the number was a mobile which he might have changed.

Starsky asked me about this ages ago and I gave him the contact details but I don't know what came of it (not a purchase obviously!). Starsky????

Reason I know all this and had the previous contact is that we own a flat about half a mile away! I'm wondering whether to try him again, perhaps have a punt on it myself!

looking at the state of it, its had years of miss-treatment,but still its a yellow plus, the last one for sale was around 5k but it was MINT!!

I reckon its worth about 2k.

I think the snow/wet is flattering it, it needs a lot more than that!

Well the guy said it's got a head issue and it's been taken to rogers already due to a water pipe leaking at the rear, rog surgested a new engine rather then fix it
