Is there one?

I'm doing a web design course and an assignment is the create a full website of our choosing, so I've decided to do one as a kinda promo for my car - interior, exterior, mods, performance, sounds, on the rollers etc.

(Pity I can't include vids of proof of said performance, but hey! wink )

So yeah, a good colour scheme for the site would obviously be an official coupe colour scheme, but I don't know of one.

Failing that, could I use fccuk's colours, permission permitting of course?

Not FCCUK related but an interesting read for you (if you haven't already seen it of course?)

Use a colour wheel (which if you google you can find). if you want to play safe you choose colours that compliment each other. Something like this explains

Use tones of grey and highlight with the strong coupe colours.

Trust me - I'm a designer :-)

Thanks guys. The colour wheel thing is cool. Amazing to think we haven't been taught that! Looks like a colour scheme similar to the Italian flag is doable. smile

Red and Green together? On a screen? Good luck with that.

http://kuler.adobe.com/ is very useful for creating colour schemes based on various theories (and seeing what others have done).
