Hi Guys, Thanks for the comments The cost is around 75 quid and 1 week of waiting. I used to paint it quite often as if gets scratched very easily if you put coins or your keys there, now that'll take my mind else where...hmm...center console maybe Cheers, David

Wow that is amazing.
As you all know my LE is as standard as possible. However I have really been wanting to do this to my console and all along there. Leather would just be such an improvement I think.

That looks stunning, very nice addition to the interior of any coupe, especially if the stitching was available in say, yellow, blue, grey etc to reflect the colour of the dash

hmm very nice, there is absolutely nothing wrong with my center console but I would say it would still be a great improvement. I'd have a set with blue stitching, defo. I would also be in for that group buy

Certainly look like its been done well. I have to say though that I'm going to buck the trend and say its not to my liking. Fair play to improving the console though!

Thanks for the comments guys As I've sealed up the rear ashtray with leather as well (broken ashtray hinge), so I'll need to reinforce it with carbon fiber and resin in order to complete the job. I'll post pic of the progress and the installed pic later Cheers, David

Hi guys, Just received the felt hand brake sleeve so I've fitted the whole thing: Before fitting it onto the car Fitted I've requested the shop to use a spongy like fabric for the centre part of the console so that it won't be scratched easily if I put keys or coins in it.

The perfect answer to the centre console issue, no more trying to clean the rubber off and repaint, and then repaint later when it gets all scratched again. Like it a lot. Group buy is a good idea, the hoses weren't enough, David, we want leather!

I'd imagine that company who have been recovering gear knobs and steering wheels would do it. Can;t remember what their name is just now though....
