Personally i wouldn't recommend to buy tyres with this size , cause it's uncommon size.
Anyway here the thread you can read feedback about kumho tyres.

I would go for the Falkens.

Not sure if I believe that the 452's have been discontinued. I had a couple put on my GTV 2 weeks ago.

The 912 is a more touring orientated tyre than the 452, so I cannot see it being replaced by it.

I would not say 215/40/16 are uncommon but 215/45/16 are definitely uncommon I wanted 215 as I wanted to go a bit wider.

If you wanted wider tyres, go for the more common 225/45/R16.

Will 225's be ok on the standard 20VT rims?

255 won't fit, if you want a wider tyre, go for 225/45/R16. these fit standard 20VT wheels and look great. remember cheap tyres are not necessarily good value, you get what you pay for and your tyres are what keep you in contact with the road so choose wisely!!

225/40 is too low profile - your speedo will over-read even further than it already does

The only tyre sizes designed to fit on standard Coupe wheels are 205/50 or 225/45
