This can be done but I think there is some modifications to the engine mounts. Think JohnS has used a 2.4 block with a 2.0 20vt head and sump for a conversion before. could be wrong though. Think he used custom pistons and rods to give the required displacement but a 2.4 crank.

Yes it is possible and will fit with a bit of pursuasion. You'd need to use all the coupe sensors and you will need to drill and tap the head for the temp sensor. You may have to put a spacer on your downpipe after the manifold to equalise the extra height of the head, but that would be pretty trivial. I am suprised no one has done it to be honest as it is very easy to do. All the coupe engine mounts can be used. I would get a custom head gasket fitted whilst doing it to increase the CR, that will give you a bit more power or indeed some basic portwork.

just to chuck a spanner in the works, as Joe (CC) has made a turbo VIS, could you not do the same to the 2.4 stilo vis and make a hybrid?
it would make things interesting to say the least!

yes but I think Joe used a 20VT bottom end so you would have to lower the CR and find an alternative turbo oil feed.

ok, so over all you may as well just build a 2.4 20vt.
