This is the NEW forum, I had thousands of hours under my belt on the old one (when sat at a desk all day)

Same here! I've had my coupe for 10 years now, and in that time gone from single to married to a dad with a 5yr and 3yr old

Most of the owners on here sold up (like James) when the cars reached 3 years old!

I have had 2 in 8 years and even paid for a cambelt change at a dealership in my early days of coupe ownership. Obviously I am older and wiser now so it is at Flea's.... Well I say that :-).
I went from 16vt to 20vt LE. Why on earth have you guys got through 4 or 5 coupes??

I've had 3 16V & two 20VT's. 16V back in 2005

Just the 2 20vt - 1 standard with rather nice leather :love and one 300 bhp!

But not had one for a few years now, but have been through 8 cars in the last 4 years in total!

<sigh> These lightweights, they're not really trying...

I'm on my second and a very nice electic blue 20vt6 83k and full history.

My first was a dog but when its your first you don't care you just want a good fast ride

Unless a very nice Moonie plus comes along this will be my coupe for life

Im on my second now, it all started in 2006/7ish with a totally reliable standard sprint blue 20VT, now im on a 380bhp Moonie Plus, (rebuilt by me, plus wheels and suspension) love it, when its dry weather.

I've had 3 n/a (a pink which was killed by a motorbike and two bananas, the second one a VIS)

Won't be having another

this is my first 20vt,bought last october and has so far not caused any problems

I bought my first 20VT back in 2002, a very nice '98 Porto with one previous owner and 40,000 miles on the clock.

Eight years later it's still mine but with many mods,(including 350BHP and a very tasty Plus interior), so I guess I'm keeping it for a fair bit longer.

on my second which is a beautiful looking plus - but the hassle i've had makes me pine for my bog standard, green one covered in dents. oh the paranoia now...

Blitz Blue 16v N/A - bought in spring last year - spent a couple of months at Motormech, then gave it to my eldest son for his 21st birthday

Speed Red 20v N/A - MOT failure rescued from an owner that was leaving the country. Spent a couple of weeks at Motormech having some work done, then sold on to a new forum member - Hammy
