hey guys, i managed to bump my coop today. well, to be more precise i parked it in my next door neighbors garden. i was coming home from work this afternoon, just approaching my drive, only doing about 10mph. i turned in, hit the ice and went straight ahead. i hit the neighbors fence, went straight through it and finished up in his garden.

damn, now i've got a lovely foot long rip along the front of the bumper, a piece of fencepost stuck in the radiator and an oil leak coming from somewhere. as homer simpson would say - D'oh.

oh, one good thing. my neighbor gave me a norwegian lesson today too. trust me, i didn't need a translator to understand him frown

this is going to be a nightmare to fix. i had to import a front silencer box from germany last month (i found one here in norway, they wanted £450 for the box and fitting. i imported one myself and it cost me £90 total!!!!!). the radiator, and what i'm guessing to be a cracked sump, wont be a problem. the bumper hmmm, now thats a different matter. the used parts market here is pretty much non existent as far as the coop goes.

i'm wondering if now is the time to get in touch with auto ds. they deliver to norway. only £35 for a bumper to here. thing is, i would really like to keep it standard, but if i cant source an oe bumper here i dont really have a choice.

On the bright side there area lot parts available through the forum and on ebay in the UK

If you have a good route then you should be "golden"

hi taff, i've figured out how to solve it now. my brother in law is in poland on holiday, and he's driving back. he's having a scout around for all the parts i need on monday. i cant really source many parts from the uk anyway because they didnt sell the 1.8 coupe in the uk.
