SS, got my final version today. I've been driving the proto for a couple of weeks, but a minor glitch meant it wouldn't work properly with the widget - it does now.

And yes, I think it's worth it. I keep thinking I'm in a gear higher than I am.

For 'higher' of course I mean 'lower'. The keyboard fairies rearrange my words, oh noes!

Been out playing today. I'm not thrashing too hard because the cam-belt's due soon... but I can confirm it will now reach an indicated sixty in second, where beforehand it would have bounced the limiter at around 55mph (Fiat say 90kph).

Which suggests perhaps a second quicker to sixty, if you care about those things?

Just installed chip by FC Tuning and it has transformed the car!...
Just like it was promised, if anyone is thinking about it..... Get one.
It sounds great, clear and no longer all revs and no acceleration!
To put it in a nutshell anyone with a 16 v na who wants a bit more spirit from the engine give them a ring

Hi Leighton, my son has just rang me to say he's just done the online transaction so will be looking forward to reporting gains with a K+N cone on a short, straight induction pipe. Engine has had a new top-end too so will be very interesting .... smile
May also gear-up by changing rubber (currently 215/40 17's) idea

Wow!
Crisper sound.
More grunt lower down and more power past peak (limiter shifted?).
Won't be gearing-up, this is more fun.
Respect to Leighton and thanks to Samsite for video (ps. don't need to remove batt. pos.)
Tip- remove ECU totally (disconnect connector)and work high-up in good light to save bending pins/aid intallation.
