Compomotive mo direct fitment , but expect to pay over £1000 just for alloys and you have to wait for about 4 weeks. They are top quality. Hope that helps.

You are going to have to take out a second mortgage (after the first one to buy the wheels) just to buy decent tyres. 17's are surely big enough for the coop ? Paul

I've got 18s on mine and I've got to say it's not the most comfortable of rides. You can feel every lump in the road through your butt cheeks and you only have to go over one largish pot hole and BANG goes your tyre (happened to me twice now) and tyres aren't cheap

My input is, OK you have chosen much bigger wheels, looks good & all that 18's are just about big enough...( if you actually want to drive the car) never mind the extra cost, your bum will be numb. As I say if you want to realy drive the car.... I've had kw-2 midium/hard front and full/hard rear set up + 18' b/stone s03 reinforced (bl**by hard sidewall , about the thickness as the ( run flat tyres ) and my ride was good. This is debateable.... it's also depends on your preference ..... obviously the lower the profile the harder the ride especialy when your suspension has no play , lowered too much maybe. The other thing i've noticed is , i've lost the response from the engine , because heavier wheels, but conering was so much better , it's was absolutely great , loved it.

Look at it , this way - the heavier the wheel the harder it'll spool . 18's alloys about 11kg and about 9kg standard alloy , if you go for forged one they are the lightest but expensive , and when you go over the pothole they could crack. Tyres - they are could be light or heavy it's all depends on the sidewall mostly , if you go for something like continental they are would be the lightest , but the sidewall isn't that stiff , and tend to wear edges quicker compare to b/stone,michelin which are tend to hold the the corner better. G/YEAR seems to be good overall tyre. I've had 18's and standard 16's and there is big difference, so now 17' T/Dynamics something more avaivable for tyre size and lighter in weight. If i could accomidate 330mm rotors under 16's , i would stay with 16's. Hope this answer your question.

Thank you Spot on. I did say that the OP should go for 17's......that is my plan......on 225's. Thanks again for explaining. Paul

I run 225/35x18s on mine. Bridgestone Poenzas on the front and Avon ZZ3 Falken 452 or Vredstein Guigaro on back. It's on Wolfrace wheels. No spacers, but on wobbly bolts. It is a NA though. Handles almost perfectly, ride is a little firmer than normal. I tend to buy part worn tyres from ebay, only good makes and with a minimum of 5mm tread across whole tyre, no repairs as it keeps the cost down to around £40-£50 per corner. I got two 452s for £60 delivered and my local tyre place charges £11 per tyre to fit and balance.
Happy
