I think they come as standard on LE, or Plus models, one or the other, dont think it makes a difference.
Now in the 400+ bhp club!

More likely to tram-line but I have not found a problem with it.

In theory the 225/45s will; - have a smaller sidewall giving an increase in turn-in response
- have a smaller sidewall giving a loss of ride comfort
- have a smaller sidewall giving an increase in heat dispersal at high speed
- be wider giving more rim protection
- have a wider contact patch giving a loss of steering feel
- cost more
- have a wider, shorter contact patch giving a loss of self alignment
- be heavier, increasing unsprung weight and adversely affecting transmission losses and handling
- look better!
- possibly offer more grip (tyres don't follow the psi/ contact patch rule when stiff sidewalls are factored in)
I can't think of any other possible differences, but ALL of these will be to such a tiny degree that you wouldn't even notice. In the end it just comes down to personal preference.
F****** b****** thing...

They offer much better wheel protection over the 205's. Spot on, & just for cosmetic reasons, especially from the back, they look that bit more "meaty" I have a set of 205's on my winter wheels on the fronts at the moment, & although they're a bit crappy wheels anyway, they are open for more abuse, without realy trying........
I'm an old git & happy with it,most of the time
