As from the Honnington thread, there is a fledgling car show in Edenbridge at the same time of the year and not very far from Honnington(which we now know is not going to take place this coming year).

We can apply for a club attendance if we can raise enough interest so if we poll interest now we can apply in a few weeks, otherwise it appears to be possible to apply individually or on the gate. From the website it appears to be a thoroughly enjoyable local car show with a variety of marques and ages of vehicles and with various attractions. Think Honnington without the duck hearding!!

I have received an email from the organisers, thanks to cyborg7, who has applied and informed them of our interest. I am waiting for their reply but it looks as if we will be able to enter up to about 10 cars.

Regrettably we are going to be on holiday when this is on so are pulling out for this year. It looks great and will be up for next year.

I'm out too unfortunately.

My wife is due for a hip replacement on the 4th Sept and obviously I can't leave her on her own that soon.

I'm still interested.

Jon - yes all arranged and confirmed, but I'll send them a reminder on Monday to confirm the latest numbers next week as well.

The show runs from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm, but they have asked for cars to be in place by 9am.

It was really good last year with couple of hundred cars from italian inc. alfas & ferraris to jags to to tvrs to new teslars on a dealers stand to military vehicles to allegros to you name it. Couple of car clubs but sadly lacking any fiat coupes. Promises to be even bigger this year so hopefully good.

Got the all clear from the show organiser who's confirmed they are expecting us - so feel free just turn up on the day. Wanted to know if we had a tent etc. but guess not unless anyone has the flag things?

Sorry to say am not going to be able to make this show now which is a pain considering it's so local. A mixture of work and personal stuff needs my attention but hope it goes well for those that can make it.
