Having had the chance to fill the car up, I've been able to do some MPG calculations and it's hasn't been great cry

I filled the car up 2 weeks ago, did some town driving, with the obligatory blast every now and then, plus the photo shoot and hooning round the track for the Auto Italia shoot, I got 198 miles to 50 litres, which equates to 17.8 MPG shocked

Next, filled the car up today and went over to Oxford, so this gave me a chance to do sort of an ecomony run, crusing between 80 - 85mph plus taking some one out for a little blat, then filled it back up for Stanford hall for tomorrow, that took 30 litres and I did 174 miles, which equates to 26.1 MPG, which is better, but ideally would like a bit more.

Fingers crossed when I go back for the finishing map tweaks, I can try and get tweaking done to the cruising map, which should give me more MPG, otherwise I'm going to have to start hi-jacking petrol tankers laugh

That sounds very low...I'm averaging 30 plus from mixed driving with a low of 27 when chasing pond man down to beaulieu last week...and he wasn't hanging about....my car is STD apart from a gtec1 and Bailey dump valve

What ARE you trying to say Jon? wink
I thought your car did very well to hang on to one's coat tails laugh
Alexis, I have to say with the price of fuel these days shocked I just don't even want to think what MPG I do, I just drive and enjoy my limited miles. My 2.4TDCI RWD Transit only just does 30mpg on a 65-70mph cruise control stint frown but I do understand it's a point of interest after all that hard work you've done and also mapping that's been done. I watch with interest to see if you can better that figure.

That sounds about right to me Begbie.

I get about 250 miles from a tank and you're pushing quite a bit more power than me.
