Now, I know most people decide to park at the other end of the car park to make sure they don't get any dents in it, but I happened to spot this picture on PistonHeads in the bad parking thread :

So, who thought their coupe was going to be okay parked with only 1 space to the side and a pedestrian crossing next to them? laugh

I park over 2 spaces at the back of the car park ALL THE TIME. And still someone will persist in parking near me, when there is a million spaces closer!! GRRR!!

As for the red coupe, oops.

Ross

Yeah, when it comes to parking, I don't care being selfish taking up 2 or more spaces as no one has any respect for my car if I park close to them.

I often go to Tesco or Asda, when I've finished work at midnight, as I find that's the best time to avoid other cars parking next to me, most of the time.

I still take up two spaces though and find it extremely annoying when people just 'want' to park as close as they can to me rolleyes

If I went up to them and stood that close to them, they'd be backing away, thinking I was a weirdo, so why park that close?

I remember seeing Basilcope's coop parked as far as you could get from the store in a Tesco car park a few years back. As there were no cars within 50 feet of him, I simply couldn't miss the opportunity to park 8 inches from his driver's door evil

I got a text within 5 mins asking if it was me laugh

Interesting, because if I'm in the wife's little Yaris and I see that there's a 4x4 parked over two spaces, I'll go out of my way to fit into 'half' a space, leaving no room for them to get into their car.

DISCLAIMER: I only do this if they have parked very close to the supermarket and it's busy.
