its all down to preference though, i love the coupe, but i want it to be slightly different to all the rest, as with all my previous cars. I suppose i can always source out another 1 if need be.

as for me I'd agree - now youve started - go the whole hog and do the lower section too.

me - (after having spoken to Naf) - I'll be wrapping mine in Carbon. probably the window and sunroof switch surrounds too. - man thats going to be fun - NOT....................

lol, hmmmm... well... IF the switches turn out well, count me in for the 1st sale of some. maybe the mirror switchy thingy aswell!!!

As per others - each to their own but IMO the only other non OE console I really like is a piano black one....

probably only gonna do the surrounds in Wrap alike Naf's
as for the actual Switches themselves, that may well be an airbrush session - carbonising look - and then with an overlay icon as to what its for - same as original (just with the carbon pain underneath it) .

cheeky but effective when it works.

but its true its all Personal preference really.

I've seen carbon 'dip' transfers which look pretty cool and they can get around all the fiddley bits like buttons. I was thinking about doing my mirrors.

that sounds nice J. I'm off on holiday on Friday - but on my return I want to start to get the car stripped out - ready for maintenance work, weilding under both sides pinin badge leak to the floor pan - small holes to be taken out etc, install of my suspension, CV Gator replace D/S, rubber ring replace around the dipstick intake to the block.

right, i've painted the ashtray surround red and the centre console red ( again (( kinda scratched it putting the stereo in ((( oops ))) )) ), and on my way home im going to pop in to the local paint shop and buy some gloss black, eventually am going to try to construct a carbon fibre dash, or even fibre glass with carbon wrap

I've still got a scar on my knuckles from that dash but it it still looks good eight years on. I've got one stripped down at work to do piano black if I ever get round to it.
