You know when you're listening to a song and the lyrics sound like something totally else? For example in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djV11Xbc914 at 50 seconds it sounds like he is saying ''I'll be coming for your love of cake.'' Anybody else got any hilarious misheard song lyrics?

Oldies but: Maxell - Into the Valley and Maxell - The Israelites For the younger members of the forum a cassette tape was used to "download" music (usually from Top of the Pops on a Sunday night) or to pirate copies of records. So pirating music isn't anything your generation invented

#Gimme, gimme, gimme FRIED CHICKEN! erm... this isnt a misheard lyric. <Googles> Well, bugger me, you're right. I used to have the Live Magic album, which listed the final words as, "One vision", even though Freddie was actually singing, "Fried chicken", so I always assumed it was just some strange accent or something. You learn something new every day.
Dear monos, a secret truth.

As a kid... "Golden Brown, texture like sun, lays me down, with my manchirons." Never knew what manchirons were - just seemed to fit in with the song pretty well .

Just heard Back to Life by Soul to Soul - thought it was "how early in the morning, how early in the evening" for the first few listens, til a mate asked WTF I was singing. I got my own back soon after when I heard him singing Sabrina Johnston's big hit as "Deep in the Valley."

Destiny's Child Alf Garnett With a nice vid ALF Shamelessly stolen from rathergood.com (the guy who did the dancing kittens 'krusher' advert) There's alot more too rathergood.com- missheard lyrics Probably not safe for work (especially the buffy swears keyboard)
