This is true, or if I changed the turbo to a GTX3076 or a GT35R then it will be over 500bhp. There is an integrale making 406bhp @ 1bar on a GT35R and 544bhp @ 2bar, running some fancy Ferrari 355 throttle bodies too!

Definately. But to get it going within a reasonable time frame, engine mods have been scaled back slightly.

We are 2-3 people in France to run above 300bhp on standard internals on 16vturbo (including me).

you mustn't turn the boost too high (1.4 bar-1.5bar max).

It's at least as powerful as 20vt with gt2860R but more impressive (higher torque).

Keep in mind that above 300bhp, your pistons can "broke" one time or another.

EDIT : the most powerful french 16v turbo coupe should go in a few weeks on dyno...with around 500bhp

What, like getting me and Barnacle to come look at your car to see why you couldn't start it, only to find the fuel lines connected the wrong way round?

if you mean the 300bhp units, T04e 50trim on a .63 hotside would be my guess (maybe a T04b but the E is alot better)

BW make some interesting options, I have a few on the shelf, the modders are holding out the EFR's, I see the 7670 and 8374 finally seem to be coming to market after a couple of years of waiting (since SEMA release) but the smaller ones suited to fairly stock coupes are around, surprised we havnt seen one tried yet

I've been reading some very good things about them over on the MLR (EFR Series), but also heard of one blowing up after 7 miles, thankfully, he managed to get this replaced under warranty.
