Whats the most anyone ever got out of a 16vt? The italians had some big power versions going a few years back, and some funky 4wd conversions using the grale gear.

Thats right, I think they worked it into the mid 10's eventually, that one was in the high 400's but just lightened and well set up to put it down through the 4WD. Not exactly a road goer it had no lights. It was around bologna. There was one up north in torino where a chap was playing with some massive (claimed) numbers and 4wd, again all Grale evo gear.... Luca Lodi i think he was called...not sure what became of that.

Check out Angelo Lanno's Coupe. Don't think anyone is coming close. Not exactly road legal. There was a 715bhp or so 16vt running NOS in Italy as well around the year 2000.
