Your pretty inconsiderate and rude yourself.

Do you not agree that making posts that state a record has been broken, yet refusing to give any further info is bating people in the first place?

Of course I'm pleasant when emailing you, I hadn't got into this discussion at that time. And it wasn't particularly you, it was Barbz's comment about it being my perception that wound me up. I'm not on my own other people have commented it was odd being so secretive.

Anyway you seem to have some issue with me, my comments above were not really that bad, perhaps you need to learn to take it?

Much love

Yes, the forum police have spoken children.

Maybe we should talk about more pressing matters that have crept up recently...

Either way guys get over it.

Back to the thread please. smile

We haven't had much track footage this year of the monster or even standard coupe come to think of it. I hope some will be posted soon, I miss seeing the coupe giving other cars a Kicking/run for there money.

Let's run a book on JBT's time.

10.3 seconds with full face fuel.

I don't believe that Leighton's / Mavric's record has been broken, so until I see evidence that it has, the best UK 20vt quarter mile stands at 11.34

Yes the engine mounts were annihilated after the first run, still as a total novice he posted a 12.5 @ 121mph at Santa Pod in full road trim i.e. road tyres, full weight, normal fuel, and this wasn't max boost/power.

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151913772889688

The terminal speed says it all, it wasn't just one run, but three runs at 120-121mph and no Coupe has gone faster, indeed as fast as my old 11.94 setup with drag slicks and race fuel. If the time has been broken then it will be interesting to see what terminal has been reached. David's 2.4 is more than capable of beating my 11.9, it is certainly faster than my Coupe!

I agree with Flea here, many, many 450-480hp coupes run these times consistently. Results look about right for DLT's spec, as a GT30 int wg, hard pushed to get past 480hp on pump gas.
Well done David if this is your first time out. thumb

Many other Coupes run far quicker quarters than that. Just look at the guys in Greece.

And they really do have more than 600bhp, some over 700bhp.
