I've recently sprayed my Scotty. Colour match was defiantly off. I sprayed everything apart from bonnet and front bumper as the paint was sound but the rest of the car had lacquer peel or was damaged.
I got my paint from a place which is well known by me and watched it being mixed. Everything was weighed out correctly and the right quantities used, however, the original has more gold in it compared with the new.
If i were you hold on until you can get the whole car done in one go cuz unlike me I've gotta now prep my bonnet and bumper and wait for the weather to warm up before i spray it.

I did mine myself and too be fair i was surprised with my skill. :-)
Id never sprayed before but i had the equipment to do it. My compressor and spray gun was from aldi and worked well.
All my paint, laquer, thinners, cleaning stuff, primer and prep stuff came to around £150 so to say a complete paint job is anywhere from £800 upwards I've saved some considerable loot.
