I quite like the "designed by Pininfarina" badges such as the link below off ebay that says "Disegno Di Pininfarina". But can anybody tell me what the correct Italian translation for "Designed and built by Pininfarina" would be?

I'm not sure whether in Italian saying a car would be "built" would be correct or whether it would be "made' or "engineered"

I'm keen to get one made but don't want to look like a plonker by getting it wrong.

Not for sticking on your Coupe I hope, only the interior was a Pinin design so by their own standards it doesn't qualify for being designed by them smile

Not for the Coupe but for a Fiat 124. Both designed by an American and built by pininfarina.

The far right of the glovebox needs something a little more glam that the period "unleaded only" sticker

No, as it was still built by Pininfarina, just not designed (100%).

I seem to recall that cars built by Pinifarina have only the script - cars designed by them also have the 'f' logo

I'm saying sod it and I've bought some similar. Simple reason function over form.

The original badges had been poorly stuck back on after the back end was painted. And I'm sick of catching them with my wash mit and leaving bits of it clinging onto the badges.

These new ones will cover the holes and speed up the washing / drying & polishing process.
