If I remember correctly when Hamiltons car went up in flames during qualifying he was unable to stop and asked the pits what to do. Are they not going to allow that either?

If so, why aren't they writing to the F1 teams offering their services as a 'puppet driver'? I'd do it for half of what any of them earn.
