I completely agree. The smaller the "prawn" the more the flavour so the best to eat are those fiddly little grey shrimp the Europeans seem to love.
Brown crab, on the other hand, are always delicious, although, again, a little fiddly to pick. Maybe there's a theme here: you have to work for good food.

I agree also.
I did some fishing off the coast of Scotland a few years back and the guy gave us 3 lobsters the size of a bin lid .
I freed the ones he gave me as couldn't bring myself to boil alive such a beautiful creature, who probably gave an unsuspecting swimmer quite a pinch the following day.
A lot of fuss for something that tasted like birds eye fish fingers .

Went on holiday with my then girlfriend and her best mate, my girlfriend and I both hate fish etc. but her friend loves them but is real squeamish! While she was screaming at trying to crack open the thing my girlfriend and I were retching She got the waiter to do it for her in the end Probably one of my worst dining experiences ever!! Great holiday though!

Lobster cooked well can be excellent. Cooked badly, it is chewy and tasteless. It is all in the actual cooking. Whether it is worth the outlay, I'm not totally convinced ...
