Begbie OP ex El Presidente I AM a Coop Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 12,302 Sandhurst	When I got the MOT done back in July after the head rebuild, I managed to get the car weighed whilst there (not with corner weighting I might add). Now, to try and help guess the right answer here I'll summarise some of the car: Standard 16vt weighs 1320KG 16v N/A converted to 16vt Compomotive 17" alloys No rear seats / trim Sound deadening removed Full rollcage FMIC Custom exhaust manifold Big turbo 3" exhaust Carelli seats So, with that in mind, what do you think the car weighs? I doubt it is much less than standard, the rear seats don't weigh much, Carelli seats are probably the same as standard but other items removed should compensate for the rollcage and other go faster items. Nigel Forum veteran Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 17,374 Staffordshire	When I used to do Ten of the Best, I often stripped the interior bare - on one occasion, I weighed everything that came out - about 140 - 150 kg I had the car weighed and found it was something like 1250kg, so it was closer to 1400 when it was fully trimmed On this basis, I'd say Alexis' car is heavier than standard - guess at 1350kg

Saint My life on the forum Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 1,897 New Zealand	Have you got an OEM bonnet on there or one of the aftermarket fiberglass ones? That is alot of weight on the front. If it is OEM maybe 20kg to remove there at least? Sure you have done all the battery in boot stuff and the like?
