Viva Italia 2016 is comming up.
it wil take place may 15 on the TT MotoGP racing track in Assen.
Its a one day event with the most beautifull Italian cars.
The Dutch Coupé club will be pressent also whit some of oure German Coupé friends, i hope there is Interest form the fccuk to come over and join us at the paddock , you can also ride on the track.
further information about the prices of the tickets i wil post before christmas when i get the info from the organization. They wil change there site so you can read in English.

Yes, tempting...but there's no Dover/Ramsgate to Oostende route any more, only Hull-Rotterdam or Harwich-Hook of Holland, so it'll have to be good old Dover-Calais again

Dover-Dunkirk is slightly closer than Calais Dave, it saves about 30 minutes to the Belgian border.

Looking at Harwich-Hook ferry prices they're working out at around £200.00 return.

Harwich to the hook for us. As quick to get to as dover and less drive time to other side..

Interested in this trip as I was keen to go to Spa this year but sadly it got cancelled.
How much time will be available on the track?

Looking at the link to the 2015 event it looks like 3 x 20 minute sessions for general Italian cars.

My Dutch is pretty non-existent but I think it cost €40 in advance or €45 on the day per session. Helmets mandatory as you would expect. click here.

I had contact with the camping De Weyert, and talkt with the care taker, the owner is 9/10 decmber back from his holliday , the bookingspace for 13 14 and 15 may are no problem he sad , but you can contact the owner Frits Sturris about the booking.

The hotel can offer only 4 day Packages, because of the hollidays , but when you send them an E-mail , they will look into it.
