It's started to snow here in the lakes. It seems to be getting traditional. Take care on the roads all.

No problems reported on any major roads for today so I hope everyone has a safe and uneventful journey, catch up with you all tonight.

Classic night at Rob's capped off with as Neil says, delicious fare and special attention as ever, imaginative and personalised presents from Rob too thumb

Great effort from jimboy to drive from beyond Inverness to Livingston then come down with Bern - reverse journey today bow

Time flew, sat down for 1900 and in no time it was nearly 0000! And there are stron constitutions out there as that wasn't the end. beer

It brought the tally to 10 years holding this event in the current format and always a pleasure to share it with special friends thumb

Thanks again, Photobucket.

Thank you all for making the effort once again, it's humbling and a great pleasure to host this festive gathering every year.
From the Highlands of Scotland, the south of England and everywhere in between, I never underestimate the planning involved and we are all truly grateful for your participation.

A 10th anniversary in anything is no mean feat but considering my location, it can only be achieved if the good people of our coupe community are prepared to travel and a small gesture of an anniversary memento is the least I could do.

I hope you all have a safe journey home and thank you once again for making this possible.

Rob and staff

Many thanks to Rob and his family and staff who made us all feel welcome yet again and the food as lovely as ever too cool

Thanks also for the lovely 10th anniversary mug laugh

No dramas getting to Carlisle this time for a change, but a couple on the way home, with having to sit stationary on the M6 for about 15 minutes while a car was recovered after an accident.

I had to leave early to get back for my dogs (which had been good as gold by the way), but it was worth it to see the orange and red glow over the snowy hills and mountains of Shap and past Tebay cool

Nice to catch up with everyone and remain quite sober for a change laugh

/me and Mrs /me are home, having stopped to fix a dinosaur toy on the way home. An hour quicker and an eighth of a tank less fuel than going up - it's amazing the difference a 40mph head wind and the weather that comes with it makes laugh

Glad everyone got back safely and just to echo what else has been said - great night and a good few laughs and as Simon said where did the time go!

Rob - the food was excellent and the mugs a real and thoughtful surprise thumb
