Just been reading the some of the sound proofing threads as Im about to change the fronts I thought Id go for some Wickes or B&Q roofing stuff. However having never done this before I thought I'd check how and what exactly do you do?
Is there a 'how to anywhere'?
Pinin youve recently done yours any chance you could post up a guide?

It's really simple, you don't need a guide, Wherever you are mounting speakers, you cut a piece of Dynamat to shape around the speaker on the panel, be it wood, metal etc, then push down hard all around after you've removed the backing sheet, so it sticks down. Just use a craft knife for this. That's all I did!
Coopless!

it dependes on how much you're willing to spend...if you have enough money the best solution would be to sound proof the all car...but that's a lot of money and extra weight so just sound proof around the speakers and you should be fine

I am in the process of doing this. I have removed the interior and used the ally backed bubble wrap stuff I have lost of it laying around. I would say that I has made a difference to the road noise but I haven’t finished yet so don’t know. I did it so the air con will be able to keep me cool next summer. the best bit was dropping the roof lining and covering the roof with the stuff. cool in summer warm in winter.

The rear side panels did the most for me, felt like i halfed the noise just by proofing these! (as they are just plain 3mm of shit plastic, then the rearwing!)
