Must have at least 7yrs no claims on my insurance and don't want to lose it.
In the company van a while back and some stupid twat crashed into the back of me while I was stationary. I have been asked to fill a accident insurance form by my employer for his insurance.
Would this affect my own no claims?? I was not at fault.

No it won't affect your NCB, but you will have to declare it as an accident next time you renew.
Dear monos, a secret truth.

However your premium will still go up, as mine did on both occasions that i have been hit. Pisses me off no end, all cost paid by 3rd party but you still get stung come renewal time

Insurance companies reckon that people who have not-at-fault claims are more likely to have at-fault ones.
15% seems very steep though.

You can claim for expenses too, such as being without the vehicle etc. So, can you not make a claim for the expected rise in insurance premium when you are due to renew?
