Christ, that's actually nice. I may have to change my opinion of Lagunas, ours has been a complete shoddily built pain in the backside, but I could live with it if it looked like that!

Can anybody explain why modern engines are so rubbish ? I don't know how old the 20VT engine is, but this Laguna has a "168bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit". So it is a 2 litre turbo modern engine, putting out nearly 60 BHP less. Any ideas ?
Cheers carmex

It's not just 'modern' engines, it all depends how the thing is tuned (by that I mean originally tuned), I mean take a look at the old 2.5 V6 vectra that puts out around the same bhp as a Fiesta ST! ... yawn!
Sooooooo many people I speak to wrongly assume that bigger CC = faster/more powerful, it's a little frustrating when they think their 2.5TD is quite obviously going to be more powerful than my little 2.0T!
