Anyone got their widget working with Vista? Do you need (is there??) an updated virtual com port driver?

As far as I can tell there is no Vista specific driver on the FTDI website

I have the FTDI driver for Win XP and will give installing that a go in the absence of any other suggestions laugh

Can't help you there, Graeme; I don't have Blista installed and don't intend to. Rumbling through the site finds nothing referencing anything more recent that XP/64 so I don't know if they support it yet.

If it does or doesn't work, please let us know; perhaps you could drop a line to FTDI?

Neil

According to the FTDI website, the latest VCP drivers (version 2.02.04) are suitable for Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista and the 64 bit variants.

Ah, a moment of enlightenment!

Looking at their website, I now see what they were trying to do - just the design with the small grey bars is a little poor.....I just read it as 'Windows Vista - Microsoft WHQL certified' but no driver to download....

It was late last night and I was feeling tired - cheers k9huff!

There's an alternative terminal 'Bray's' which I've seen recommended, also 'Putty'. Don't know if they're Blista, though.
