well first car is a lie, as i had a 380bhp gt4 on L-plates for a year. but this will be my fist car on a full lisence. my bike experience does not transfer, which is a bit of a 5hitter even so, i was supprised at how low the quote was for the 20vt, i double checked every thing with the guys from Elephant (used confused serach engine) and they confirmed that the quote will be valid for 60 days oh i also put my mum on the car, cut the cost by nearly £400 compared to a previous quote?????

Elephant all the way at that age. If you go TPFT then make sure you get legal cover in the policy. Coops are great to insure as they are hard to stack!

Depends on your postcode - I would expect more like £500 for a 20vt unless you really live in the sticks!

agreed - you tell them you have a strut brace and they'll refuse to insure you.

bit of advice in respect of Quinn, I personally would not insure my toaster with them. Bad company with a bad attitude, and a bad record of paying out claims (i.e. not paying them out). They're cheap for a reason.
Sideways a LOT

I get quotes from lots of places and was with adrain flux before and greenlight was the cheapest. I have been with them for just over a month, i phoned them up today to add an intecooler to the list of mods and the price didn't change and i spoke to a english lad from the midlands, i could understand what he was saying which is a big bonus. I also got straight through to them not waiting listening to sh**te music like with adrian flux. Ash
