Tartandude what did you get for your 2.5k if you dont mind me asking ? Do you feel you got good value for money ? i.e a good selection of parts for your 2.5k or was it on one item ?

Don't mind you asking at all ;\)

Had to get a replacement engine and get it fitted etc so..

Engine - 900ish
Car Transport - 350ish
Fitting Labour - 600ish
Oil Cooler Pipes - 130ish (Can't remember)
Replacement Manifold - 110ish
Thermostat - can't remember
Phase Sensor - can't remember
Lots of oil changes/filters and other bits I can't remember

And 2 weeks before the engine went I got new alloys, brake discs, pads, blueflame exhaust etc so expensive year for the coop!

Edited to add: Car is getting shocks/springs fitted today but I didn't pay for that it was my Xmas pressie so not including that \:D

In the last month, just £250 on a set of leather because the tops of the cloth back seats were sunburnt.

Last year, don't ask.

Last month £20 on new (to me anyway) mats, or was that the month before?

Just about to order new discs and pads, insurance due and will be getting some sparkly new belts in March. So not exactly nothing.

Did get new suspension, tyres all round, a freshly painted rump, alloy refurb and some HIDs last year though.

Up yours Photobucket.

There is some serious money that been spent in just a month, but for me hand on heart this is my first fiat so its very new to me and i have had my far share of hot hatches in the past, but not one gives me the buzz my coop does !!! It comes on boost so smooth and goes like a rocket !!! One of my mates saw it and said "that wont beat my T5 auto, what is it anyway ?" I took him down the road for a quick spin.............................."fcuk me" he said "that goes really well, my T5 wouldnt stand a chance"

So my plans for the coop after the money ive spent so far ??? Spend more......................
