I'm doing my cambelt on the weekend so I'm removing my rocker cover. I'm vapor basting mine, it's basically high pressure water jet with really fine course beads. Should leave a factory finish look

Don't want shiny, just super clean as if it was brand new! cheap limescale remover. did my rear calipers and they looked like new after. just be carefull as the stuff burns but is ok in a plastic container.

I've got access to various bead and vapor blasters at work, fairly handy really. would have thought it's fairly cheap to get done.

Bead blasted my rocker cover yesterday. It turned out very good and nice and clean. I put it in the dishwasher last night to give it a final degrease and it's slightly taken the bright aluminum shine away. Anyway thought i'd post a pic for you to see the finish Bead blasted rocker
