Thanks for the welcome guys!!
Mileage is 9898 and I'd love to sell it before it reaches 10,000!!
Just one correction on the link. It wasn't a demo for Robert McCall as the previous owner bought it brand new from there. I bought it 3 years ago.
I was going to post some pictures but is here the correct place to do so?

The car's service history is impeccable ahving been serviced 10 times. 8 of those have been at my garage and 2 at Robert McCall's. The timing belt has been done once.
Can I just draw your attention to a typo above, I bought the car in January 07 so had it 2 years! In those 2 years I have covered 713 miles!!!!
I'll try post some pictures tomorrow.
If anyone is interested in buying the "most original coupe in the UK," Steamer's quote not mine (see link above) drop me a PM.

When I bought the car, Barnacle it was my full intention to drive it but the mileage was so exceptional I decided to keep it below 10,000. I wasn't planning on selling it for another few years when they will be even more desireable but my car collection is swelling quite a bit and I have decided to trim it down hence the reason for the sale.

Not at all Branacle. The whole reason I kept it below 10,000 is to surprise people when I eventually came to sell it in the hope that there wouldn't be too many around in that sort of condition.

The top's of the rear seats are a little faded but I wouldn't go as far as to say they were green.
The car sits in a heated showroom all day and if it is at the house it's in a carcoon.

Me too. I have a red 96 with only 56k on the clock. I'm just changing the engine today as the bottom end has gone due to a poor repair. Have got a good 62k one to go in. Am putting on new belts, clutch as I do it so that its good for another 60k. I am also respraying. I have a tan leather interior but my wife says she prefers the original. The car is on black powder coated 20v turbo alloys.

Ripped the engine out of mine today. Found its had a new slave cylinder and I think, maybe a new clutch. However, the guy supposedly supplying my the engine is not responding to any of my calls or e-mails. He is a seller on ebay called fiat.lancia.alfa.parts It may be just that he's been away but I'm getting a bit annoyed as I want the engine in by the end of the week. If he doesn't come through, then I may be buying a 16vt and parting out mine. I need to have a car on the road asap so I'll have to see what happens.

I haven't got a 16V but I do intend to have one one day. I have driven and owned all(except a 16V) models, and am positive that the 16V has the best handling and ride of all. And I believe the 16V is one of the most reliable.
And who needs a high top speed when in NZ a 16V can exceed the legal speed limit in 3rd gear!
Its the Fiat marque and the coupe style that I love - I can do without the other bits.

Bang on! Sprayed my grill with chrome plasti-kote enamel today and I must say it looks much better (bridges chroming on fogs set off by the polished blitz blue bonnet). A recommended classy mod yet cheap and easy to do. PS. I'm just a comparatively young 48 and two-thirds

Hi guys, I have bought a 16v donor to help me get mine on the roads. As you know, a lot of parts are peculiar to our cars. I am only going to be keeping it for 2 weeks and then its gone. I have posted my price list on the forum but I thought I'd give you all a heads up. Hope you don't mind. Lee
