nice to see you all big thanks to MABR for organising this again.
The scale on my graphs for rpm was different this time compared to past 2 visits dont know why, makes it a bit difficult to compare the curves.
Hope you get your fueling sorted bill, just keep off the loud pedal for time being !!

Its running the standard ebv along with a PVR to prevent boost spikes. I'm thinking about getting it set up by flea but want to get the suspension refreshed first (although its not really bad atm to be honest best one I drove handling wise when I was searching) and get the injectors cleaned just to be sure one isn't lean or anything like that. Its running about 1.1 ish bar. 276 is my member number

Was very cold at Johns mind and was a 10 am run. Might be worth getting custard to look at your boost controller to sort that spike, he used to have one and set up Paul's

probs goto johns in a month or so to get the fmic on and then wap it upto 1.3 bar. think my problem is that the greddy isnt setup right, thought dyno demon would of done it for me.. also i need to get rid of the rich fuel and the idle problem.

Do as Nigel said get some carb cleaner and spry it at the pipe see if you have a vacuum leak. A bit more boost in the mid range may sort out the rich running, but that may go away once the boost spike is reduced.

If you look between the intake plem and the block you wills see 5 short pipes these are what nigel talked about. Also check the pipe to your boost gauge is secure, the pipe to the dump vale and pretty much pipe between the maf and the plem.

just thought it may be the standard IC has plastic end tanks, could explain you missing BHP and the hunting if one has split.

I popped in for an hour or so, stayed till just after the big power/very loud sx was run and had to go. There was 1 very nice sprinty there with recaro seats and a zender kit i think, just wondered whos was it. It has to be the nicest coupe ive seen. Also is it a cada spoiler on the back, I only just caught a glimpse of it as it was leaving.
An interesting day, First time I've even set foot in a RR garage. Once my car is all sorted properly I would be down for taking part in one of these runs. Wouldn`t it of been better if the bhp values written on the board included bhp at the wheels as that would be a comparable figure for both sx and coupes and a proper comparison could be made between the two.

Thanks again to MABR for organising this meet. And thanks to Nigel for diagnosing my chattering problem on start up - that's another reason for going to these meets, to get expert advice on running problems - as well as the social banter.
I would have been gutted to not run the car after driving all that way - so was quite pleased with my 233.9 bhp as I can now sell it with proof of this. I also got some invaluable advice about the current status of the engine i.e. it's still boosting a tad high & is running a bit lean - so I know what needs to be done to sort that out in future.
Pop me down for the next run Craig - not sure what I'll be driving at that time, but I may still have the Coupe!
Anyone that likes the monamobile - PM me if you are interested.

Thanks to everyone for supporting this - we did get our backsides kicked by the SX's but that was just a bit of friendly Club banter as well as putting an interesting twist on the day. I've listened and read what people have to say about differences in RR's and tbh this always happens after a day like this. To that end, I've agreed to run another North West RR Day at an alternative venue in about 6 weeks time. Hopefully this will be on a set of Dastek rollers for comparison purposes. The quarterly North West RR Days will (hopefully) continue at Dyno Demon (May will be the next one) as I feel the venue and service are second to none. Steve at DD knows that I'm looking at a comparison day and is fine with that. As for myself, apologies for not spending as much time with people as I'd've liked - still nowhere near 100% healthwise (a few people asked if I knew my lips were blue ) but hopefully getting there. It was a cracking result for me at 259 with the spec below and perfect fuelling. Last time I was there I ran 253 with a fmic, Gtech2 and a Greddy EBC. I've still got to get a K&N panel filter fitted and have the throttle cable replaced (51 degrees with no adjustment left) so hopefully a bit more still to come. Thanks to SteA at SXOC for sorting things at his side and thanks yet again to Steve, Luke and the gang at Dyno Demon for a smooth day with excellent service. I'll post up a seperate thread about the alternative RR venue as soon as I have confirmation.
