Following on from the success of the Brooklands event at the weekend, the next Auto Italia event is taking place Stanford Hall in Lutterworth, near Leicestershire on Sunday 7th June. As always, the club will be there, well when I say the club, it will be just myself, as the event clashes with the Spa Italia event which has some of the board members going to and someone else will be on holiday   Info taken from Auto Italia's website : Widely known as the premier UK concours for top-quality Italian automobiles, this spectacular event will once again be held in the grounds of Stanford Hall. Following the success of last year’s Alfa Romeo Owners’ Club National Concours, held for the first time at the event, we are delighted that the Club will be returning to us in 2009. Another first last year was the Fiat and Abarth National Concours. This year the concours entries will be accommodated in the main display area joined for the first time with a selection of top quality Lancias. As well as the formal concours areas, the Ferrari Owners’ Club and Maserati Club will be returning with displays of exotic cars. Visitors arriving in an Italian car will be invited to join the general display area. There will also be an Italian trade village and a concession on entrance to the elegant stately home. Entries are invited for the Fiat and Abarth and Lancia concours competitions. Last year this was my favourite auto Italia event and I am gutted that we are going to miss it this year  I am sure Mr Begbie would look to host another Coupé club Show and Shine event but he may need a little help. I really hope this one manages to bust the 50 again

If everything goes to schedule this will be the first weekend of the 16VT being on the road and all finished. Would make a pretty good trip for her first outing, so I'll try and make it.
