I did an oil and air filter change today and replaced the oil. Undertray came off easily, oil filter and sumpplug likewise. Filled it up with oil and thoughtr that was quick. Turned the engine on and it soundd like a diesel!!! Turned it off to see 5 lites of oil on the ground!! On investigation, the old oil filter ruibber seal had stayed on the engine and when I put the new filter on it must have created a hole for the oil to leak ouit of!!! Re did the job and another 5 lit-res of oil, car going OK Phew!!!!

Left the seal on, didn't realise and then loads of oil pouring out from underneath. The oil filter was a right horrible, awkward one to get to as well. Only took me the once to learn my lesson

Been there too when me and my mate changed the oil on my Uno Turbo - they were cracking little cars, anyone had the joy of owning one?? (the owner of the driveway wasn't too chuffed at the time )
