has anyone ever tried .......if it is possible, to mount a rear strut brace on top of the rear shock mount turrets, the same idea as the front strut brace ?

Clicky Clicky If you look at the picture there Paul, any lateral loading of the rear trailing arm would cause the subframe to flex, however the tube running through the centre is seriously heavy duty. A brace between No1 and the same point at the other side would prevent any flex but where do you draw the line with bracing up the chassis ? Fitting a cage is the best thing you can do to stiffen up the flexible coupe shell.
