my first coupe was a little red NA VIS
totally besotted by its looks - exhaust note and pure smiles per gallon.
Then some Southern Octagenarian mashed me up between his 40ft of metal (AKA caravan and Signum combo) and the central reservation
and so i bought it back and it sat unloved in the open air with nish to protect it - save the occasional wash and wipe - within 3 weeks of said accident and return the clutch went...so it sat for ALL that time...
I could hardly look at it and due to pressures setting up a business could never justify any spend...
It sat and sat until 6 weeks ago - i bought a battery and threw it in her,,
Started first time.

Then i realised the rad was knackered adn a few other bits...
After a total of £460 inc parts and labour she now has new rad - clutch - brakes - fresh MOT - new cables and other bits and bobs...
when i tot it all up im guesing its seen the guts of £1000 including VIC checks - maintainance to date and purchasing a few add ons

New interior (2nd hand from a 2000 vt)
vt alloys wnich im debating whether to go with or leave the standard NAs (Personally i think the smaller wheel makes the ride more entertaining and lively...)
So thats before the body work which it will need a fair wee bit off...i dont need it to be MINT MINT - just pretty good - so got a few prices which im happy with (Finish this before August)
i didnt get rid of it although my head told me to..and to be honest im really really glad i didnt - reminds me of exactly why i bought a coupe in the first place...
Truth be told i prefer it to my Plus.
So if the work is carried out to the necessary standard -i've already got a buyer waiting to snap my Plus of me this summer...
so my driveway is taking shape again
