I have a stainless steel exhaust, it currently has an exit pipe that is rolled at the end and sticks out. I would like to change it to a slash cut exhaust and to make closer to the bumper (it sticks out too much).

Is it possible to get just the rear tip changed or will it need a new backbox ? anyone done something similar.

Depends if it's part of the back box or if it's a tip clamped on I suppose as to how easy or otherwise it might be to change.

Might have to change the entire rear box and all depends what angle the box is at, if it's welded etc.

I have same issue, mine is a slash cut and I would prefer a rolled end. tongue
I also have the issue of it sticking out too far.
I was looking about pulling the back box in a little if the mounts will allow, but seeing as I would like a different tail pipe I might cut the end off and weld a new one on.
