Something a little more light hearted than the usual debates/rants

In my house it's A (not through choice) as I believe B to be the correct way!

B, obviously. Though others in this household bafflingly seem to apply a random approach.

b too, but if top layer is overhanging top layer [ 2 ply], then roll back top layer all the way round and then both layers of paper will be the same length.
Can't believe I just posted that, but no one in my old family home ever got it laugh

B.

Else the insoucient flick of the wrist that separates the desired sheets from the roll causes the knuckles to rap painfully against the wall.

B obviously too - especially where the roll is mounted over your shoulder - it's just easier to reach

Always B - winds me up a treat when Wifey deploys 'A' to the point that I will reverse it to 'B' - she never notices.....

That's where the back up roll is stored. You don't dispense from that, Shirley?

What do we think of toilet roll holders mounted sideways (usually in public toilets, etc), that use large toilet rolls - should the toilet roll be placed so it's facing forwards or backwards (towards the door or the wall behind you) ?

I personally feel it should face forwards, towards the door, but any thoughts on this situation? laugh

Towards the door, but I try and avoid public toilets and usually make a toilet paper seat if nature calls.

Sit down wee's, I like to treat myself smile

seems to be a trend here, men like it on view, women prefer it hidden round the back !

That surprises me really, as it's generally women (no offence, etc meant) that clean the bathroom, etc, so I would have thought most would be like me and obviously you men would have preferred B, as no/less muck shocked , fingermarks, etc., would be on the wall behind the toilet roll holder.

What about option C = IZAL!

It fed from the middle so no A or B debate required.

Back in the days when I was at sea, shiny toilet paper much like Izal with the words "Property of the Board of Trade" printed on every sheet was the standard issue.

It was great for writing airmail letters on according to a couple of Swedish harbour pilots.
