Something a little more light hearted than the usual debates/rants In my house it's A (not through choice) as I believe B to be the correct way!

b too, but if top layer is overhanging top layer [ 2 ply], then roll back top layer all the way round and then both layers of paper will be the same length. Can't believe I just posted that, but no one in my old family home ever got it

B obviously too - especially where the roll is mounted over your shoulder - it's just easier to reach Meritorious and less-stretched B

Towards the door, but I try and avoid public toilets and usually make a toilet paper seat if nature calls. Sit down wee's, I like to treat myself

That surprises me really, as it's generally women (no offence, etc meant) that clean the bathroom, etc, so I would have thought most would be like me and obviously you men would have preferred B, as no/less muck , fingermarks, etc., would be on the wall behind the toilet roll holder.

What about option C = IZAL! It fed from the middle so no A or B debate required.
Gone Audi mad!

Back in the days when I was at sea, shiny toilet paper much like Izal with the words "Property of the Board of Trade" printed on every sheet was the standard issue.
It was great for writing airmail letters on according to a couple of Swedish harbour pilots.
